Tillage as a Stormwater Practice

Soils are often a neglected part of stormwater planningalthough they can be a big asset.  Post-construction soils are commonly in poor physical condition with little fertility to grow grass or other plants.  In this webinar, we will discuss ways to assess soil condition and methods to create the environment for reduced runoff and enhanced plant growth.

Learning Objectives

  1. Link soil physical and chemical condition to stormwater runoff
  2. Understand methods to evaluate the soil condition
  3. Determine remediation methods to create highly permeable soil and reduced runoff
